David Hart’s eye-catching art is a colorful interpretation of his subjects, which include local scenic sights along Florida’s Emerald Coast, from Destin to 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. His work is characterized by big brush strokes, palette-knife texture, bold colors and local influences. David is motivated by the creative fulfillment of conceptualizing and bringing a painting to life. His goal with every painting is to create an image that people can connect to in some way, be it visually, emotionally, or both.
He developed his painting skills over the years through self teaching, working and studying with many artists, art classes, and plein air painting. He works in oils and acrylics. David is based in Northwest Florida and has been featured in local galleries and shows. He is a member of the Northwest Florida Plein Air Painters, and the Arts Center of Fort Walton Beach, FL.
